Akij Board Introduces Bangladesh’s First SYNCHRO Melamine Board

There are numerous boards available that replicate the look of natural wood. But what if a board could go beyond visual resemblance to deliver the authentic look and tactile character of real wood?

Akij Board, a brand of Akij Particle Board Mills Limited (APBML) under the AkijBashir Group has introduced Bangladesh’s first Synchronized Melamine Board, bringing a new dimension of realism to premium board surfaces. The latest addition to Akij Board’s premium Lumino Series, this sophisticated collection features a premium synchronized-texture surface that brings exceptional authenticity, depth, and aesthetic refinement to contemporary interiors.

Manufactured using advanced Embossed in Register (EIR) technology, the surface texture of each finish is precisely synchronized with its printed woodgrain design. This meticulous alignment creates an exceptionally realistic wood effect, faithfully replicating both the natural look and tactile feel of genuine wood.

Commenting on the launch, Sk. Zakaria Nashim, General Manager, Operations, Akij Board, said, “With SYNCHRO Melamine Board, we wanted to give architects, designers, and homeowners a surface that doesn’t just look real—it feels like real wood when touched. This launch reflects our continuous investment in innovation and our promise to our customers: ‘Now You Can.’
