Akij Board Inaugurates Exclusive Display Center in Mymensingh

In a landmark moment for Bangladesh’s board industry, Akij Board and Akij Door – two leading brands of the AkijBashir Group – successfully hosted the “Evolve Beyond Business Conference 2026” on October 14, 2026, at Robin Resources in Malaysia, (a sister concern of the AkijBashir Group).
The event marked a major business conference held outside Bangladesh, bringing together 800 participants: 400 business associates, dealers, and business representatives from Akij Board and Akij Door, along with 400 employees and dealers of Robin Resources, creating an atmosphere of unity, pride, and celebration.
Amid the breathtaking landscapes of Genting Highlands, the vibrant ambience of Berjaya Times Square Hotel, and Malaysia’s serene charm, participants experienced an unforgettable blend of strategic discussions, cultural exploration, and joyous moments. The cool mountain air, picturesque surroundings, and warm Malaysian hospitality made the event not only a milestone in business history but also a lifetime memory for everyone who attended.
Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Managing Director of AkijBashir Group, presented awards to dealers in recognition of their contributions and shared the Group’s strategic priorities for business expansion, improved customer service, and stronger long-term partnerships.
In his speech, he said, “Akij Board has always believed in innovation. Recently, we introduced Synchro Melamine Board, Ultimatt Board, Deep Embossed Board and Matching Digital Edge Band. Soon, we will introduce furniture components, and densified wood to meet the diverse needs of our customers.”
The event was attended by Shamsuddin Ahmed FCA, Deputy Managing Director of AkijBashir Group; Sk. Zakaria Nashim, General Manager, Operations; Md. Nazrul Islam, General Manager, Sales; Sk. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Deputy General Manager, Production; Mirza Mashud, Deputy General Manager, Sales; and other senior officials.
